I'm not in love with the idea of furries, but I don't hate you any more than any other random jackoff I've ever spoken to at such short length. What would make you think I had negative feelings about you? just curious.
Well, for starters you removed me from skype and no matter how hard I try to readd you, you refuse. And then there's the fact that we actually used to talk, I understand that you dislike furries, but then again, so do I. I just like anthropomorphic art, I'm not fanatical about it either.
I did forget to mention though that fron what I can manage to make out this is very nice.
The concave like concept in the knees is rather cool as well. *Are the character's actual legs under his armor differently shaped than a normal humanoid's, or is the bit of armor jutting out just cool knee armor?*
It's not like your photography is fantastic either, I just looked at that spider-mech, and the photography isn't perfect. Do I complain? No, and I would appreciate it if you would shut up about my shitty photography. I'm not retarded, I realize that these photos could use improvement and I'm doing what I can with what I have. I've also posted much worse photography to the BML without any bitching at all. I truly don't mean any offense, but the nagging gets annoying after a while. <:I
Another note to add is that a quick look at your gallery has brought back my faith in building. It is so refreshing to see some one make original content, (that's good) and be so creative. I'm going to start building again and i wanted you to know that you inspired me.
dem shapes.I really love the flexibility of this model, and it is shown very well, the armoring is decent and presents pleasing shapes, although from the side view the ankles seem a bit bare, perhaps some more tires could remedy this. The shaping of the torso is very nice as well, leaving very few gaps, and what gaps are there can be easily ignored. I might suggest filling the small of the back if possible, and replacing the red pins with black, but i understand lack of parts so this is only a minor nit pick (the same goes for the red pin connecting the torso to the waist.) The tasset is a nice touch and adds to the armored theme, however i think that his hips could be a notch wider than they are, maybe one stud on each side horizontally? currently this gives his shoulders a sense of over broadness (but that could just be his armor)
Over all i would give this figure a 8/10, The photography is a bit hard to tell, but it seems like there isn't much gunmetal to balance out the pieces on his hips. Otherwise this is a very shape-smart piece with easily over looked flaws. Definitely one of my favorite builds in a long time.
Why thank you The ankles could actually use less tire; the gunmetal pieces would fit much closer the the HF bone without that pesky tire there, and to compensate I could add some bulk to the sides and attach said bulk with rubber bands. I'm glad you pointed this out, now I have a good reason to rethink that area. The small of the back has a tricky layout, but I could definitely see about filling it in more. Pin and axle colors will probably have to stay the same because I don't have more than about 20 of each in black. The shoulders were intentionally much wider because this fella is not human; he is an ancient entity of "unknown origins" and does not eat or breath, so he's essentially all muscle.
Wow, thanks There is some gunmetal on his chest and the backs of the legs, but he could definately use a little more gunmetal, I'll see about scraping together some gunmetal to even things out.
Ahh, i see. I figured his preportions had something to do with him being an entity rather than an organism. With the gunmetal i would just add some accents here and there so that the already existing bits don't look out of place. Maybe some on the upper body and then a piece on the biceps if possible, this would give the illusion of there being more than there is. but to me is just seems like the pieces on his hips are just a shade too light to match the rest. looking again i think that a small change could rectify the color scheme.
I had to google this kirito fellow, and I can see what you mean, but you should know that it was modeled to look a bit more like the black knight sword for the video game Dark Souls. Thank you for the compliment
